Requirements

Midi Libre had a vision to redesign its reception area with a more modern image, using digital display tools such as a video wall. The company wanted to broadcast several different sources of information simultaneously.

The aim of the newspaper’s headquarters was to create a video wall capable of broadcasting continuous news channels, displaying the homepages of the group’s websites and news about the company. As a news specialist, Midi Libre wanted this video wall to become a communication tool and a showcase of its activities for its clients.

It was also very important to be able to control the different parts of the wall to vary the content available.

The solutions provided

Midi Libre appointed Iagona, via the company SPIEICS, to carry out its project. The choice fell on the Neoscreen digital signage software thanks to its ability to display different content on the wall’s screens and its ease of use.

After an advanced preliminary study carried out by Iagona presenting several assembly scenarios, the client opted for a video wall with nine 55-inch screens (in a three-by-three layout), with a video distribution and digital selection system capable of changing the display mode.

Midi Libre chose to broadcast the websites alternately on a column of three screens for better visibility. The two TV channels are broadcast on two screens and the group’s news on a sub-wall of four screens. The newspaper now offers its visitors four different sources of information.

It is also autonomous so you can change the layout of the displays on the intuitive interface of the Neoscreen software.

The video wall allows us to create dynamic presentations that attract attention. They add value to visitors as well as everyday life and unite staff
